How TradingView Signal Copier works

Step 1: TradingView alert is triggered

When your TradingView indicator or strategy meets its trading conditions, it triggers an alert and sends to the Webhook URL you specificed in the alert. The signal content is the message you define in the TradingView alert.

Step 2: Signal received by Signal Copier Bot

Once the alert is sent:

  • Our system receives the signal from TradingView.
  • AI is used to analyze and parse the signal content.
  • The system determines whether the signal should be processed or ignored based on the allowed actions configured for the signal source.

Step 3: Receiver customizations applied

Before processing the signal, all receiver-specific customizations are applied to match your trading requirements, including:

  • Risk management
  • Symbol filtering and mapping
  • Position size limits
  • Stop Loss and Take Profit strategies
  • Breakeven settings
  • Trailing stop settings
  • And more.

Step 4: Signal processed by the receiver

After all customizations have been applied, the final signal is processed by the selected receiver (trading account or communication channel).

Depending on the signal, the receiver can:

  • Open a new position
  • Close an existing position
  • Cancel pending orders
  • Modify Stop Loss or Take Profit levels
  • Broadcast notifications or information
  • And more.

Note: A single TradingView signal source can be linked to multiple connections, and each connection can include multiple receivers. Every receiver can have its own unique settings and customization rules. Whenever a trading signal is received, it is processed independently by every receiver across all connected connections according to its individual configuration.

  • A paid TradingView plan is required to use Webhook notifications

Troubleshooting tips

  • Verify the Webhook URL to make sure it is correct
  • Check your connections in Signal Copier Bot to make sure your TradingView source is selected as a signal source
